Azah sanitary pads are an outcome of an extensive research conducted among thousands of Indian women who have shared their valuable feedback to help us develop and design a pad that genuinely solves their problems. For example, in a survey conducted among more than 300 women, 49% reported facing rashes during their period. In order to fix this, we decided to use organic cotton in our pads which does not cause irritation while being breathable as well.

Unlike the traditional mass-produced pads that often use cheaper raw materials like plastic and harmful synthetics for cost-cutting, Azah pads are made ensuring premium quality at every stage of the production process.

For example, the top layer of Azah pads is made with the finest organic cotton that leaves an ultra-soft surface. The core consists of a biodegradable superabsorbent which ensures a dry feeling even after several hours.

We are also one of the first companies in India to ensure that our pads meet US FDA Approval, one of the most reputed and strictest quality certification bodies in the world.

While we have tried our best to ensure that our products are affordable to the common consumer, we perfectly understand in case you find it relatively more expensive than your current brand. However, Azah pads are made with the most premium materials like organic cotton, biodegradable superabsorbent which are themselves much more expensive than what’s used in the traditionally available pads in the Indian market. This results in higher manufacturing costs but in the end also ensures a better quality product.

Every Azah pad can absorb heavy, medium and light flows. Azah pads consist of a superabsorbent core which can absorb more than 300 ml of flow, ensuring a dry surface even during heavy bleeding. A normal healthy menstruating excretes less than 60ml of blood during her cycle.
